IT Security Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for IT security professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a web application which I am interested in start selling it for schools, but, until now, I didn't find a proper solution for licensing it for schools.

Can some one please guide me for a practical and easy way to do it ?

There are options where I can license per school local area network, and there are some schools who permit their students to visit their website from home.

Where to read about such licensing models for schools ? and is there is a service provider who can make this issue easy ? Shall I develop my own solution ?

I don't see how this question is a security question. We could discuss the implementation of a licensing model or evaluate a licensing solution, but you seem to be trying to define a business model and choosing a provider for an implementation of the licensing solution required by this business model, neither of which are security-related. – Gilles Feb 8 '12 at 13:10
sorry for that, shall I edit the question, so that I look for a the implementation of a licensing model ? – Samir Sabri Feb 8 '12 at 13:34
I'm not sure where in the stack community I would migrate this to, so when in doubt, SO :) – phpmeh Feb 8 '12 at 13:37
no problem, I will try search on another great community :-) – Samir Sabri Feb 8 '12 at 13:40
This question wouldn't be on topic on SO. It'd best fit programmers.SE, but in the current form it would get closed there too. – CodesInChaos Feb 8 '12 at 16:15
