I have a Word (.doc) file that I created a long time ago I believe in a Windows XP. The problem is I don't remember the password anymore and need to access the file. What would you recommend I do? I think a brute force program would work, but I am not aware of any good ones that are free. Could you recommend one, or any other method of recovering the document?

Hey there, I was asking myself the same question earlier today and stumbled across this, which solved my problem: – Anonymous May 14 '12 at 15:38
