Is there any password strength checker (offline or online) out there, which uses a custom wordlist?

Just about any strength checker can use a wordlist. Finding a wordlist shouldn't be too difficult. Any possible answer to this would be based on a link that might not have any value at a later point in time. google.com/search?q=german+wordlist+file – Jeff Ferland Oct 16 '12 at 18:24
Can you give me a link to a password strength checker which allows me to include a such a custom wordlist? Most online checkers have no or just a small wordlist with only english words, for example this one: daleswanson.org/things/password.htm – student Oct 17 '12 at 6:03
What you could do, especially if this question is related to a student assignment, is to present a dictionary attack using John The Ripper. Look at some examples, read some docs, and try using it with a german wordlist. Wordlists can be gathered by googling for enough german words.
