Our corporate server is like this :

Main VIP : abcxyz.xyz.com directing requests to following VIP's:

  • abcxyz-1.xyz.com
  • abcxyz-2.xyz.com

The webservers behind abcxyz-1 and abcxyz-2 are on same netscalar. All the webservers behind abcxyz-1 and abcxyz-2 have the same cert for abcxyz.xyz.com

After applying a strong SSLCipherSuite, the cookie generation stops at abcxyz-1.xyz.com, but not on abcxyz-2.xyz.com

I am short of ideas as to what going wrong there.

Any pointers would be helpful.

I can't understand the question. Perhaps you can elaborate? What do you mean by "cookie generation stops"? What are the observable symptoms? What do you mean by "after applying a strong SSLCipherSuite"? – D.W. Nov 9 '12 at 18:56
SSLCipherSuite and cookies are not even on the same network layer, they literately have nothing in common. Why is my apple tree not producing oranges? I NEED ORANGE JUICE! – Rook Nov 9 '12 at 19:35

when using SSLCipherSuite RC4-SHA:HIGH:!ADH , cookie generation works. and when used SSLCipherSuite ALL:!ADH:RC4+RSA:+HIGH:+MEDIUM:!LOW:!SSLv2:!EXPORT , cant generate cookie – Novice User Nov 13 '12 at 6:47
SSLProtocol -ALL +SSLv3 +TLSv1 is used in both cases – Novice User Nov 13 '12 at 6:47
