Some mobile phone providers offer to back up phone contact details or even more data online.

Example app solution that backs up mobile phone data is mozy. Is this secure to use mobile online backup ?

Welcome to IT Security! Unfortunately, this question seems like it can't reasonably be answered. To answer your question we really have to do an architecture analysis of each solution from each provider/vendor. You might be better served asking something more focused like "this feature on this provider" kind of thing. – Scott Pack Dec 12 '12 at 19:23

Hi Refineo - this question is not really suitable. You'd need to define what you are trying to backup securely, and what you consider secure for your needs. Even then, any answer you get will be subjective based on what the community knows about the product. – Rory Alsop♦ Dec 12 '12 at 21:20
