IT Security Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for IT security professionals. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am unable to connect to the internet. I am behind a company router that requires authentication, and although I had provided it I am unable to connect out to the internet.

Everyone is able to connect with their own authentication and the IT department provides user authentication through the network in the form of username and password. I am using the company wireless mainly through my mobile but I am unable to browse or surf.

Is there any solution that allows me to connect out of my company network on my mobile?

Have you check back with your IT department?

It could be a proxy configuration issue.

I believe this is more of a networking question instead of a security question.
