For an article I am writing, I would need to know if this fault was also in other countries and if so, I would really appreciate ANY link to newspaper/whatever so I can prove it. It is an old fault (1999+-) which was based on the ATM feature to draw the mobney back in a certain time limit if not taken. The fault was that the sensors were able to recognize only the upper and lower note collection, not the middle one.. Anyway, bank then could check non-realized withdrawl and indetify the culprits.

If you know any source mentioning this, please I would be really greateful for the link.

Check if Ross Anderson mentions it in his book. – Gilles Mar 15 at 13:39
Hi Pietros - welcome to Security SE. While I think this one is interesting, this one doesn't really fit the site very well as it is mostly a question asking for search material on a very specific topic. – Rory Alsop Mar 15 at 19:14
