The back-story is long and boring so I will get down to the meat of the argument.
I say that if a professional code breaker has a bunch of data, the encoded version of said data and the encoding method he can figure out the encoding key. It is just a matter of having enough data.
Am I right is this true?
How much data or how many characters (with matching coded characters) would a real professional need in order to come up with the code key? (I guess it's called the encryption key) right?
Thanks for your help. I would like to get this resolved because I will never hear the end of it. I can't find and answer anywhere.
