Here to learn and share!

My primary workstations run OS X and Windows. But I like to look over the edge and tinker in Ubuntu and Fedora during my free time.

My first experience with Linux was OpenSuse in '05. But today I only use Debian based Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Linux Mint). However, I've also been flirting with Fedora lately as it is the only distribution that I managed to EFI boot on Mac hardware.

comment What is your way to create good passwords that can actually be remembered?
I like to use a 1Password's random passphrase generator which does allow to only use pronounceable phrases such as wha-no-pirt-biqu-wu. I think this is a good mixture between random chars and being able to memorize the password easily.

comment Do VPNs provide sufficient protection over public wireless networks?
What about ARP Spoofing? Are MITM attacks still possible, or are they still too difficult due to the encryption layer?
