I'm an electrical engineer and programmer. My favorite languages are Python, Perl, Matlab, and C++ in that order. My favorite data structure is the associative array. My favorite candy is taffy. I am tired of recursive acronyms. I prefer build numbers or tree revision numbers (SVN), or commit hashes (git), or even date codes, to artificial version numbers.

Regarding SO: I do not believe in "give me the codez" homework answers. I don't need to do your homework; you need to do it so you'll learn something. I will give hints but not answers. If your question is obviously homework and you fail to mention it or at least put forth some honest effort, I will ignore it.
