how to mitigate a DDoS from botnet on your website that comes from random IPs @GeorgeBailey Bottleneck is CPU at the moment. They are using a user agent header that resembles a real browser. I appreciate your help and am happy to answer any questions. |

is there better email, file, disk encryption than PGP? @LucasKauffman Faster supercomputer (as per Wikipedia): 10.51 Pentaflops = 10.51 x 1015 Flops [Flops = Floating point operations per second]. Even though the numbers are still high, computing is now in the exaflop range, at least from what is public. That being said, this assumes the math is correct, and it assumes the NSA haven't developed optimizations to do the brute force, which could drastically affect those calculations. It also assumes Symantec doesn't backdoor their software. |

Are honeypots successful in preventing attacks? I guess I should have been more specific. Has it been fruitful, worthwhile to have one? |
