I program stuff, and would do it better if I knew anything.

revised Atm/Debit card Security
Just clarifying some grammar, and emphasizing this question is about the card number, not the card itself.

@AviD The question is asking if they have your card number, not your card.

That's a really smart way of beating the scammers. Of course the chips are better, but I'm impressed.

How does shuffle card entry help reduce the threat of skimmers?

Why was there a recent edit to this question? I looked at the edits and it feels unnecessary and a matter of stylistic preference over actually providing anything new here.

comment How can I punish a hacker?
@TildalWave It wasn't nitpicking at all. In fact you pushing for a difference between your use of service and his use of favor is the only nitpicking that happened here. You saying the hacker did the OP a service is the same as saying the hacker did the OP a favor. When someone pointed out that saying what the hacker did was a service/favor, your only defense was we're mixing meanings and the example you provided to demonstrate your meaning was irrelevant and inapplicable. We're extracting the meaning correctly, you just don't like that our response is to disagree with that meaning.

@TildalWave Your use of service in your previous comment and use of service in your first comment are two different uses of the word. ryan's use of the word favor fits your use of service in your original comment.
