How does a firewall help to protect a server? This question should be revised. It should probably read "How does a firewall help to protect a server". rather than asking specifics about the misconception that a firewall will truly protect everything. (A firewall is just one part of a working IT security solution) |

Can most mail from *.ru be considered spam? And that's the percentage I'm trying to find. It is pretty apparent that most of the mail coming from *.ru is spam (i run 6 sites, and russian spam keeps going to admin@[domain]). |

Can most mail from *.ru be considered spam? Then, if the mail server logs and reports show that all (19999 out of 20000) messages from *.ru are spam, would you personally say that in the specific case of that report and those mailservers, it may be prudent to block *.ru? Global trends, of course would seem to suggest otherwise, but in this specific case, I'm inclined to suggest blacklisting *.ru. |

Skype security concerns on an enterprise network @Ramhound indeed, although my use of "reports" was in error. I was meaning something more along the lines of what Mark posted below, white papers and research documentation (which somehow was hidden from Google searches and in depth searches for specific information). Thanks to Mark for the information! |

Skype security concerns on an enterprise network The research papers you have linked are excellent. The Bluecoat reports seem to concur with the other, older-than-2011 reports I did find myself. Thanks for providing these links. |

Skype security concerns on an enterprise network Unless these 2011 reports (note that the ones i've found are older than 2011) are just as accurate as a more recent report, i'd prefer a recent report. |

Is it Illegal to break out of a forum post by using CSS for example? Some countries have laws against this, like the UK. |
