How can I remotely wipe the contents of a Linux Laptop if its been stolen? Are you sure this can be done on boot ? because you need at least a remote connexion to the laptop to be able tell that you want a remote wipe. So I guess this would be done after boot while the laptop is on "login" state ... but as file carving tools are now very efficient, wouldn't it be better to consider encryption of the hard drives ? |

Comparing penetration testing suites Actually they include some tools that you'll never use if you run a little pentest company, such as VoIP tools or Web tools or you'll always use one tool for many things ( like a proxy such as the OWASP proxy, and not all the others included) -- For Helix I ment that during a long period it was free to download and that now it's not anymore. |
