I'm a software engineer at a secure VOIP startup.
I'm interested in (low-level) performance optimization, databases and languages (be they to talk to computers or fellow humans). I'm also known to play football (the British term) and computer games once in a while.
I speak English, German, Swiss German and - on a good day - also French.

OpenSSL RAND_poll 'good enough' Thanks for the detailed answer. In regards to your suggestion to call neither, the problem under Windows is that RAND_poll can take some time and will block our UI. So we call it upon initialization, which works for us. Secondly, do you know what will be the source of randomness on Symbian and if that one is reliable? |
