If Xampp is not secure enough for a production environment what should I use? I do intend to stick with a linux box purely as a means of forcing experience on myself and having entirely open source and free software. I have poked IIS briefly but tbh it seemed sluggish almost. |

If Xampp is not secure enough for a production environment what should I use? This is somewhat of a hobby, I'm in college and would like to know as far as building my own server goes what options do I really have as far as setups go? Xampp is easy to set up and use and I love it for experimenting, but ARE there other options that could be used in production? |
