comment How does the TCP/IP lack security?
Some "weaknesses" I know regarding TCP/IP (not in TCP/IT itself, but rather in the implementations): TCP syn flooding, TCP window attack (with size set to zero in the ack packet), sequence number guessing, IP spoofing. how are the passwords salted? Since the Linux kernel is open source, is not the salt algorithm known by the world and therefor useless?
