Why would a virus writer bother to check to see if a machine is infected before infecting it? Anyone writing software that installs should really look to good viruses as paradigms of usability. |

How do I use a TPM to protect my BIOS/EFI from “remote” attacks I'm calling them "remote" attacks because the attacker doesn't have physical access to the box/mobo, but rather can just put whatever he wants on the disk that will boot. Also, I still don't understand HOW I would use TPM to do this... Also, I don't care about my kernel.. I want to protect my BIOS. Is TPM the wrong thing? |
