Jun 15, 2016 at 13:34 comment added dave_thompson_085 Note server times out and closes you in #29 after 60sec, but you don't close them until #91 after another 84sec; by then the server (or its firewall) has likely discarded the connection, so they don't ACK the FIN, and you 'spuriously' retransmit. That said, I agree SF is a better place for this.

Jun 15, 2016 at 12:39 comment added StackzOfZtuff You wrote " testing the connection with OpenSSL from node B1 works perfectly." But what about from B2 to RP with OpenSSL?

Jun 14, 2016 at 15:47 comment added Steffen Ullrich A reason might be if the no client certificate is configured at B2 or if the configuration is wrong, requires password or whatever. Since B2 is the one causing problems I would suggest to look further into this server (logs, configuration...). Tests with OpenSSL will not help much because this is a different TLS stack with different configuration.

added screenshot for spurious retransmission
Jun 14, 2016 at 14:24 comment added Ajedi32 I think this question might get better answers on Server Fault.
Jun 14, 2016 at 14:19 comment added Limit I can see some spurious message alert sent from the client to the server in the second screenshot. Can you share that one?
