Jul 8, 2016 at 10:16 comment added André Borie Note that by default an OS won't transmit keystrokes to other devices over USB, so even if the mouse was malicious it can't just stay there and listen for keystrokes. It has to actually interact with the system and compromise it (like BadUSB does) to be able to install keylogging software.
