Jul 21, 2012 at 8:56 comment added Jacco Nice article! As far as I know, PBKDF2 is an Adaptive Key Derivation Function, but BCrypt and SCrypt are not; they are adaptive cost hashing algorithms. (The difference is subtle, but real).
