I have a web application which downloads and executes a jnlp file to launch an applet. Using javaws I set a proxy under the network settings at 127.0.0.1 port 8080. Is this enough to monitor through Burp all the http requests which came from the applet? Apparently no...

  • Make sure you've configured the Java install which the app is using - it's not unusual to have multiple Java installs on a single system, and to have configured one which isn't being used. – Matthew Jan 3 at 10:42
