I'm using aircrack-ng on a pi to deauth a client that's connected to my wireless network. I run aireplay-ng and the attack succeeds but now airodump-ng wlan0mon stops returning any bssid, beacons...

I've tried killing wlan0mon but it doesn't work. The only solution I know is to reboot the pi. Are there any other solutions?

  1. Turn on monitor mode
airmon-ng check kill
airmon-ng start wlan0
  1. Use airodump-ng to scan
airodump-ng --channel 2 wlan0mon
  1. Use aireplay-ng to deauth target client
aireplay-ng -0 5 -a apMAC -c clientMAC wlan0mon

Now running airodump-ng again fails
