I have this token, I want to know what somebody be able to tell me how Google Authenticator works, and what someone be able to get the original passphrase from below token?

otpauth://hotp/Token?secret=LBSV2RLVO5ZWKOSDLRDGOKSPFEYFQILD&algorithm=SHA1

  • As said in the duplicate, RFC4226 describes it. There's nothing to decrypt; it's a shared, random, secret. There's no information in the secret. It's simply a shared, random, number. – vidarlo Jun 28 at 0:29
