I learned about about XML-RPC and specifically XML-RPC in WordPress. Now, the safety of XML-RPC in WordPress this is disputed.

But given, that I would like to continue using XML-RPC, in the most save manner, I wonder about the safety of it.

  • Thus, I plan to use the Loginizer-Plugin
  • I have https enabled
  • I have long and secure passwords (and no public users)
  • For the rest, it's a standard installation

Can the Loginizer-Plugin also limit attempts via XML-RPC?

Note: The official docs do mention, that it supports disabling, but not whether it offers protection for this login path.
