Let's settle the obvious: Windows XP is a very obsolete operating system, running it as the main OS on a computer connected to the internet is not a good idea.

But, if say, you would like to run it only to read email in Outlook, blocking all ports in the firewall except 995 and 587 (Gmail). Would there still be a major security issue going on? And what could those be in that case?
