Does viewing (not editing/adding files/adding folders) of a publicly shared link on Google Drive (not Google Docs) reveal my:

  1. email address;
  2. avatar;
  3. account name;

to the publisher?

Files I've viewed always end up in my "Shared with me" folder on the Google Drive and I can see the owners name. But what information about me can they see?

  • I believe it reveals your account name/name and avatar but I cannot quite remember. Almost certain your email isn't revealed from simply viewing a document though. – user173641 Feb 2 at 10:45
