VPN provider have to abide by the law in the countries where they provide services as far as I know. I ve seen an old article (here in french: https://www.paradisfiscaux20.com/anonymat-internet-vpn-loi-conservation-donnees.htm ) saying these countries dont have regulations for keeping connexion data regarding vpn.

Argentina

Brazil

Hong Kong

Iceland

Japan

Panama

Taiwan

Ukraine

Do you know if this list is up-to-date? Can you confirm these countries dont have regulations regarding connexion data for vpn providers?

Just because there is no legislation for it does not mean a VPN provider isn't keeping any logs.

I’m voting to close this question as off-topic because it is asking exclusively about legal aspects. Try Law for this. May 12 at 13:58

"what counties have a specific regulation?" is not a security question.
