I have a free edition of Thycotic Secret Server for learning purposes. Rotating AD and Windows passwords is working great. RHEL, however, is another story.

Within Secret Server, I've added a new Unix Account (SSH) account. Put root in the username field, and put in the correct, current password. When I try to use remote password changing to update the root password to something else, I get the following error:

Connection Failed - Connection lost due to error 96258

I don't see any Thycotic Support Forums, so I am posting here. Does anyone have any experience with Thycotic Secret Server to know what next steps I need to troubleshoot further?

The RHEL server's IP address and credentials in Secret Server are correct because I'm able to connect using the Launcher. So, there must be something else wrong here.
