I’m exploring the world of offensive security and looking for small tool ideas that I could develop to improve my skills. My focus is primarily on reverse engineering and cracking, and I’m also studying IoT, so if there’s anything that intersects those fields, even better!

I’m at a beginner/intermediate level and want to build something manageable but interesting—something practical that could also be used to highlight my skills in a portfolio. If you have any suggestions for offensive security tools, especially related to reverse engineering or IoT, I’d love to hear them. Appreciate your help! :)

  • have the GUI swear at the user a lot. Maybe add in some racist or political jokes... it's not hard to be offensive these days. JK... I think they'll close this pretty quick as it lacks focus and this isn't really a think-tank for projects. (maybe there's another section of SE for that?) Commented Sep 4 at 17:51
