Bind tcp opens up a port on victims device, usually pc stands behind firewall and firewall wont allow ports other that some specifics(like 80,443,22 etc). Reverse tcp tries to connect to you (From target machine back to you - you open port and wait for connection). The attacking machine has a listener port on which it receives the connection, which by using, code or command execution is achieved. If it is remotely, port forwarding should be done on your router.
